The outline should be short and concise, and limited to 2 pages. Take special care to indicate the structure/form as well as listing your main arguments in bullet-points. You will swap a copy of your outline with a fellow student to discuss the strength and weaknesses of your submission, and can take that feedback home. You will also receive feedback from the lecturer on your electronic copy.
Please read the feedback carefully. You are expected to review your assignment after it is returned to you and engage with the feedback you receive by incorporating suggestions where appropriate. Thus your briefing paper assignment should show a significant improvement from your outline. Do not ignore the feedback you receive!
The briefing paper outline will be assessed according to Presentation, Research, Understanding and Structure; for more details please take note of the marking rubric that is attached to this document.
