Bluetooth Technology Essay

Make sure to have everything below in my paper: 1) The history of this technology beside the name and logo. 2) The benefits of using this technology. 3) The disadvantages of this technology. 4) The uses of this Technology. 5) The Bluetooth vs. other technology similar to it. 6) The versions of this technology. 7) The security on this technology. And make sure to follow the rules below: 1) Use APA style for everything beside sources citation. 2) As far as abstracts go, it is better to include an abstract than not include one. Cover pages, abstracts, and citation pages do not count toward the page length. 3) Need to 100% your paper and not copy one, because we have to check our paper before send it. 4) Need to have conclusion paragraph, not the same what you did with one of my paper. ------ General rules ----- A research paper will be developed, written and submitted dealing with some aspect of interactive systems as a final project for the course. Students should find a topic and idea that relates to the real world and how their idea(s) can be applied in a real environment. Does the paper have to be task based? Again, No. You can take one aspect of Interactive system design and write a research paper discussing current and future trends. For example, if new research is done about ergonomics and laptops, you could write an entire paper describing the proper way laptops should be designed and used in the workplace for better ease of use. For all of these papers you should do detailed research and include your sources. A minimum of five sources will be required. Undergraduates are expected to write a paper between 8 and 10 pages in length, while Graduate students are expected to write a paper between 10 and 20 pages in length. An electronic copy will be posted on the website. Sections of the paper will be developed throughout the semester and will illustrate material covered in the readings, lectures, presentations, and other outside materials. The focus of the research paper will be topics related to interactive models and must be approved by the course instructor. This project is worth 100 points and will include an introduction, review of literature and conclusion. The format of the proposal will adhere to the American Psychological Association format. The research paper will be included as the portfolio requirement, submitted to the student's academic adviser and kept on file for the duration of the portfolio period. This proposal will also be used as a way of assessing student comprehension, skill development and critical thinking. Things to keep in mind: As a general rule of thumb; you should have as many references as there are pages in your paper. If the paper is to be 5-10 pages in length, you need a minimum of 5 to 10 sources of information. A scholarly paper will not stand up to scrutiny if there are only one or two sources for the entire paper. You may use a lecture as a citation, although it is probably not the best idea to cite the instructor of the course in your paper. If you do cite a lecture, or more specifically, since this is a lecture that is recorded and posted, there is an APA rule for proper citation. You can find it in the APA Manual of Style. When you write a research paper, you simply can not have a single source. That is not research, that is summarizing one point of view, which may not even be a legitimate source. If you were to cite a website or paper that stated, "The moon is made of cheese", and didn't do further research to back up that claim, you would be laughed out of the scholarly community. Having multiple sources are there to not only give you a solid base in which to pose a theory, research into multiple sources will help prove your claims in the end, and prove that you have done all the leg work needed for a solid scholarly paper. A single source is not scholarly, and is not acceptable in a research paper at the university level. Check spelling, grammar, and sentence structure before submitting your paper. If need be, read the paper out loud before you submit to make sure it sounds correct, and reads smoothly. Also, instead of writing the paper and submitting it right away, write the paper, then set it aside for four of five days, and then come back to it with fresh eyes. You'd be surprised how many errors and corrections you can find when you are not rushed at the last minute to get your paper turned in. WIKIPEDIA: You should also note, that unless approved by an instructor, you should NEVER use Wikipedia in a research paper. Wikipedia is a good place to start, and if you pay attention to the References section at the bottom of a Wikipedia entry, you can find the original source material, which is much better source to cite from. For example, the color Red section has a link to the main article on Wikipedia about Red. Following that link you'll discover the basic information presented on the page cited, as well as a plethora of other information regarding the color. Depending on what you are discussing - in this case I'll use "red representing guild in general", there is a direct link to the original source material Atwater, Edward. Sacred Tabernacle of the Hebrews. City: Kessinger Publishing, LLC, 2004. ISBN 141797818X pg. 223 Which could lead you to write in your paper According to Atwater (2004), red is often associated with guilt... and so on. You could also write it as Red is often associated with guilt (Atwater, 2004).... and so on. While slightly outdated, this website (http://www.vanguard.edu/faculty/ddegelman/index.aspx?doc_id=796) has the most stable information that carries through current versions of the style guide. Also, you should look at the links to examples on that page for more on what research papers should look and read like.
